Price increases now also for Sophos Central

After the price increases for Sophos Firewall appliances including accessories, SD-RED, and APX Access Points, the Central platform is now also affected. Due to changing market conditions, Sophos is increasing the prices for the following products as of August 1, 2022:

  • Sophos Intercept X Advanced: + 7–10%
  • Sophos Intercept X Advanced with XDR: + 7–9%

It is not entirely clear why, among the Central Endpoint licenses, only these two modules are affected. The price difference between the entry-level product “Intercept X Essentials” and its larger sibling “Intercept X Advanced” will certainly become even larger as a result. Whether we will soon see a similar development for server licenses or other Central modules remains to be seen.

There is still some time to purchase the products listed above at the old price and thus avoid the Sophos Central price increase, at least for now. Act as quickly as possible and, if there is enough budget available, buy the licenses for 3 years straight away.
