Price increases now also at Sophos Central
After the price increases of the Sophos firewall appliances including accessories, the SD-RED and APX access points, the Central platform is now also affected. Due to changing market conditions, Sophos is revising prices upward for the following products effective August 1, 2022:
- Sophos Intercept X Advanced: + 7–10 %
- Sophos Intercept X Advanced with XDR: + 7-9 %.
Why it only affects these two modules in the case of Central Endpoint licenses is not entirely clear. The price difference between the entry-level product “Intercept X Essentials” and its bigger brother “Intercept X Advanced” will certainly be a bit bigger. Whether we will soon see a similar development in Server or other Central modules remains to be seen.
There is still some time to purchase the products listed above at the old price and escape the Sophos Central price increase, at least for now. Act as quickly as possible and buy the licenses right away for 3 years if you have enough budget.
