New minimalist rackmount kits for Sophos Firewalls
Many customers have repeatedly pointed out to us that the original rackmount kits from Sophos are comparatively expensive. Some have tried alternatives from Rackmount.it or racknex, but even these solutions have not always proved to be optimal – whether due to high costs, unnecessary additional functions or overly complicated installation.
For this reason, we have developed our own solution: Minimalist rackmount kits that focus on the essentials. Our goal was to create a simple, stable and space-saving way to mount Sophos Firewalls securely in the rack – without any superfluous bells and whistles.
Our new rackmount kits in detail
Our brackets are available for the following desktop firewall models:
These kits consist exclusively of the necessary rack brackets with which the firewalls can be securely fastened in the 19-inch rack. They are made of high-quality metal and provide a stable mount without compromising the design or function of the devices. The color is precisely matched to the Sophos Firewalls so that the overall appearance remains harmonious.
With these kits, we offer a minimalist alternative for anyone who wants to mount their Sophos Firewalls easily, quickly and securely in the rack.
Price
The price was the main reason why we started this project in the first place. On the one hand, the price of the product, but also the price for the employee who needs a good 10-15 minutes to install one of the other rackmount kits. Even longer for an HA cluster and even longer if he is doing it for the first time and first has to look in the instructions to see which of the various screws are intended for where.
For this reason, we don’t want €180, but only €90 and customers who opt for a Sophos Firewall subscription with us only €45.
We have sufficient stock and can deliver throughout the EU and Switzerland.

What is included in the scope of delivery?
In addition to the rackmount kits, the scope of delivery also includes the appropriate screws – nothing else.
Can the power supply unit be attached?
No, unlike the original Sophos rackmount kits, our metal brackets do not have a device for attaching the power supply unit.
Where are the metal brackets produced?
Our metal brackets are manufactured in Switzerland by a Sophos Firewall customer.
