Set up and verify Sophos Fusion co-branding
Co-branding lets Sophos Fusion (formerly Sophos Central) display your company logo or the logo of the Sophos partner managing the account. Its documented scope is deliberately limited: the logo appears in the Self Service Portal and when exporting supported Endpoint and Server PDF reports. It does not turn Sophos Fusion into a fully customized white-label portal.
Quick path: Sign in to Sophos Fusion as a Super Admin or Admin, open Global Settings > Platform > Co-branding, select Browse, choose a file that meets the requirements currently shown, and select Save. Then verify the preview, the Self Service Portal, and a PDF report you actually use.
Choose the logo source before uploading
First decide which brand end users should see:
- Your company logo: Upload an approved logo for the Sophos Fusion customer directly.
- Partner logo: The customer account uses the setting stored in Sophos Fusion Partner. The partner must first launch the customer from the Customers page in Partner Portal.
- Sophos logo: This is the clean rollback when you no longer want to use a custom or inherited logo.
Co-branding changes neither roles nor access controls. A logo helps users recognize an expected portal or report, but it doesn’t prove that a website or PDF is genuine. Secure sign-in, MFA, and permissions independently.
Before making the change, retain the approved source file, assign an owner, and define the rollback. Check the permitted file properties on the Co-branding page because Sophos Fusion displays its current image requirements there. Technical acceptance alone isn’t enough: contrast, aspect ratio, and legibility must also work in the preview and in a real output.
Upload your company logo
- Open the Global Settings icon in Sophos Fusion.
- Under Platform, select Co-branding.
- Select Browse and choose the approved logo file.
- Check the preview. The logo must not be cropped or difficult to see against the background.
- Select Save.
Record the filename and version used internally. This helps distinguish an old brand version in Sophos Fusion from an older display held by a browser or an already exported report.
Global platform features have a different scope from device policies. For that distinction, see Use Sophos Fusion Global Settings and policies correctly.
Use a partner logo
A partner first opens the relevant customer from the Customers page in Sophos Partner Portal. This provides the intended link to the partner setting in the launched customer account.
- In the customer account, open Global Settings > Platform > Co-branding.
- Select Use settings from Sophos Fusion Partner.
- Check the displayed partner logo in the preview.
- Select Save.
Don’t accept the preview without checking it. If a partner manages several customers, brands, or partner organizations, confirm that the correct account is open and the expected partner logo appears. If the option is missing or the wrong brand appears, first check how the customer was launched, the active customer account, and the setting stored by the partner.
Verify the result in practice
A saved preview alone doesn’t prove that the intended users and reports look correct. Test the channels you actually use:
- Reopen the Co-branding page and verify that it still shows the selected source.
- Open the Self Service Portal as an intended test user in a private browser session. This avoids confusing an old session with the new state.
- Export a supported Endpoint or Server report as PDF and open the file locally.
- Check the logo, customer account, legibility, and confidential report content before sending the PDF externally.
The Self Service features available to a user depend on licensing and access. See Set up Sophos Fusion Self Service Portal access. For report filters, exports, and secure delivery, see Schedule, export, and monitor Sophos Fusion reports.
Not every report or Sophos Fusion page is within the documented co-branding scope. A missing logo outside the Self Service Portal or a supported Endpoint or Server PDF report isn’t automatically a fault.
Change, remove, or reset the logo to Sophos
Sophos Fusion requires you to remove the current logo before switching. You can’t simply upload a new logo over the old one.
- Open Global Settings > Platform > Co-branding.
- Select Remove under the logo preview.
- Select Save.
- To use a different logo, then upload the new file or select Use settings from Sophos Fusion Partner and save again.
- To return to the Sophos logo, don’t select another custom source after removal.
Verify the Self Service Portal and a new PDF export again. Existing PDFs aren’t changed by the new setting; they remain snapshots of the earlier export and must be recreated if necessary.
Troubleshoot common problems
The upload is rejected
Compare the file with the requirements currently displayed by Sophos Fusion. Then check the source file’s type, dimensions, and size. Don’t rely on limits from an older screenshot if the current interface shows different values.
The partner logo isn’t available
Confirm that the customer was launched from Customers in Sophos Partner Portal. Then check the active customer account and the existing partner setting. A customer account opened directly may not have the required partner context.
An old or incorrect logo remains visible
First check the saved preview on the Co-branding page. For a planned change, the previous logo must have been removed with Remove and the removal saved. Then use a private browser session and a newly exported PDF; an existing PDF isn’t a live test.
The logo is missing where expected
First confirm that you’re checking the Self Service Portal or a supported Endpoint or Server PDF report. Then check the licence, report type, saved logo source, and a fresh export. This setting doesn’t promise tenant-wide white-labeling elsewhere in Sophos Fusion.
