Sophos PoE+ Injector – 30W, 2.5GbE

The Sophos PoE+ Injector powers a compatible access point over its network cable when your switch does not provide PoE. It supports 1 and 2.5 GbE and the 802.3af and 802.3at standards.

802.3at = PoE+ (e.g. for AP6 420, AP6 420E, AP6 840, AP6 420X)

The injector supplies up to 30 W at its output. With 802.3at, up to 25.5 W reach the device after the specified cable losses. It is therefore suitable for the following access points:

• Sophos AP6 420

• Sophos AP6 420E

• Sophos AP6 840

• Sophos AP6 420X

This PoE+ version is insufficient for AP6 840E, which requires PoE++ under 802.3bt. Consider power requirements, network speed and the mains cable version when choosing an injector.
