Sophos 3G/4G Module – SG/XG 125/135 and SD-RED

This Sophos 3G/4G module provides cellular connectivity for compatible appliances. It suits an SD-RED branch using cellular internet access or a suitably configured backup connection. This version is intended for Americas/EMEA.

Current relevant SD-RED compatibility:

• Sophos SD-RED 20

• Sophos SD-RED 60

Sophos also lists SG/XG 125(w)/135(w) revision 3 as compatible. These references describe older hardware: XG reached end of life on 31 March 2025, UTM/SG on 30 June 2026. New XGS installations require the module suitable for the model.

Technical information

• Cellular module with two external antennas and a SIM card slot.
• LTE connectivity; check coverage and cellular bands with your operator.
• A suitable SIM card, data plan and operator credentials are required separately.
• On SD-RED, the module uses the expansion slot as an alternative to the WiFi module.
