Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS) Mise à jour v17.5 - MR4 publiée

Sophos a publié la version 17.5 MR4 du Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS).

Chiffrement des sauvegardes

Avec MR4 arrive une fonctionnalité que les utilisateurs UTM connaissent depuis des années. Les sauvegardes peuvent désormais être chiffrées. Jusqu’à présent, il était assez facile d’extraire le mot de passe administrateur d’une sauvegarde SFOS. Sophos explique que la configuration était chiffrée avec un mot de passe générique que seul Sophos connaissait. C’est pourquoi, par le passé, nous déconseillions d’envoyer les sauvegardes par e-mail ou de les déposer sur un serveur FTP.

Nous recommandons de changer le mot de passe administrateur et d’en définir un solide afin que les sauvegardes de configuration soient chiffrées. Ensuite, vous pourrez transférer les sauvegardes par e-mail ou les déposer sur un FTP en toute confiance.

Notifications

Les notifications par e-mail de la XG étaient quasiment inexistantes. Sophos travaille à les améliorer et la nouvelle version du firmware XG apporte les premières améliorations.

Autres petites améliorations

• Il est maintenant possible de générer le fichier de configuration des applications depuis la console de la XG Firewall et de l’importer dans GSuite. Vous le trouverez sous Authentification > Services > « Télécharger la configuration de l’application GSuite ».
• Ajout de la prise en charge des interfaces GRE et RED pour PIM-SM.
• Prise en charge des « DHE key exchange cipher suites » avec le scan HTTPS.
