Installer Sophos Central Endpoint (Windows)
Dans cet article, nous vous montrons comment installer Sophos Central Endpoint Protection sur votre PC Windows.
Important : Sophos Central Endpoint ne peut pas être installé en parallèle avec un autre antivirus tiers tel que Symantec, Kaspersky, McAfee, Windows Defender, etc. Il est donc impératif de désinstaller tout antivirus existant avant d’installer Sophos Central Endpoint.
Prérequis
- Windows 7+
- Compte Sophos Central
- Droits administrateur sur l’ordinateur
- Aucun autre antivirus installé
- Connexion Internet
Installer Sophos Endpoint Protection
1. Se connecter au compte Sophos Central
Connectez-vous à l’administration Sophos Central via https://central.sophos.com.
2. Télécharger le programme d’installation
Cliquez dans la barre latérale sur le menu Protect Devices. Dans la section Endpoint Protection, vous trouverez le programme d’installation complet pour Windows nommé Download Complete Windows Installer. Si vous ne souhaitez pas installer le package complet mais uniquement Endpoint Protection, cliquez sur Choose Components... en dessous. Assurez-vous que seule l’option Endpoint Protection est cochée, puis cliquez sur Download Installer.
Important : le programme d’installation complet pour Windows contient à la fois Endpoint Protection et Intercept X. Si vous souhaitez installer uniquement Endpoint Protection ou uniquement Intercept X, cliquez sur Choose Components....
3. Exécuter le programme d’installation
Lancez maintenant l’installation de Sophos Central Endpoint. Une connexion Internet est requise.
Important : Assurez-vous qu’aucun autre antivirus n’est installé sur l’ordinateur avant de lancer l’installation de Sophos Endpoint Protection.
4. Vérifier l’installation
Une fois l’installation terminée, l’ordinateur est protégé et apparaît dans Sophos Central. Pour vérifier, cliquez dans la barre latérale sur Endpoint Protection puis sélectionnez Computers.
Important : Ne supprimez jamais un ordinateur dans Sophos Central avant d’avoir désinstallé le logiciel sur ce PC. Le logiciel est protégé par la Tamper Protection (protection contre la manipulation). Pour désactiver cette protection, une liaison avec Sophos Central est nécessaire.
5. Attribuer la licence au bon utilisateur
Si un utilisateur existe déjà dans Sophos Central pour ce compte ordinateur où Endpoint est installé, vous pouvez maintenant lui attribuer la licence. Pour savoir comment faire, consultez ce guide.
