Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS) Uppdatering v17.5 - MR4 släppt

Sophos har släppt version 17.5 MR4 av Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS).

Kryptering av säkerhetskopior

Med MR4 kommer en funktion som UTM-användare har haft i flera år. Nu kan säkerhetskopior krypteras. Tidigare kunde man med lite ansträngning läsa ut admin-lösenordet från en SFOS-säkerhetskopia. Sophos förklarar att konfigurationen hittills har krypterats med ett generellt lösenord som bara Sophos kände till. Därför har vi tidigare avrått från att skicka säkerhetskopior via e-post eller ladda upp dem till en FTP-server.

Vi rekommenderar att byta admin-lösenord och skapa ett säkert lösenord så att konfigurationssäkerhetskopiorna krypteras. Därefter kan ni skicka säkerhetskopiorna via e-post eller lägga upp dem på FTP utan oro.

Aviseringar

E-postaviseringarna på XG funnits knappt. Sophos arbetar för att förbättra dem och den nya XG Firewall-firmware ger de första förbättringarna.

Andra små förbättringar

• Det går nu att generera applikationskonfigurationsfilen från XG Firewall-konsolen och importera den till GSuite. Ni hittar den under Autentisering > Tjänster > “Ladda ner GSuite-appkonfiguration”.
• GRE- och RED-gränssnitt får stöd i PIM-SM.
• Stöd för “DHE key exchange cipher suites” vid HTTPS-skanning.
