Branch office opened in Luxembourg
Up to now, it has been difficult or even impossible to conduct EU business from Switzerland. With the new branch office in Luxembourg, we are creating a better starting position and are now delivering to all 27 member states of the EU.

Avanet.ch is shut down
When we launched our website for Avanet in 2012, the .ch domain was a perfect fit for our startup. However, our focus has changed somewhat over the years and since we now also do business abroad, we will rely 100% on the .com domain in the future.

Infrastructure built in Germany
Infrastructure set up in Germany We are slowly feeling our way into the EU market! Over the last few months, we have built up an infrastructure in Germany that we hope will soon enable us to equip the whole of Europe with Sophos products.

Avanet Podcast launched
We have published the first episode of our new Avanet podcast about Sophos. New episodes will be released every two weeks, where we will mainly talk about Sophos UTM and XG Firewall as well as Central. We hope for many listeners!

Store integrated into Avanet.com
Our Sophos Shop v3, which we implemented with Prestashop in 2015, has served us faithfully and ultimately also made us a Sophos Platinum Partner. On July 11, 2018, we replaced Prestashop and launched a self-developed version of the store at avanet.com.

The store plugin for our CMS is reaching its limits in terms of functionality and it’s time to switch to a professional store system. With Prestashop, we are completely rebuilding the Sophos Shop and at the same time further expanding our offering.
