Sophos Gbit/2.5G PoE+ Injector (802.3af/at – 30W) – with EU Power Cord

This PoE Injector from Sophos supports both the 802.3af and 802.3at standards.

802.3af = PoE (e.g. for APX 120 and APX 320)

The IEEE 802.3af (PoE) standard supports the provision of Power over Ethernet with up to 15.4 W per port, which can be used to power a variety of devices. However, due to derived power in the cable, only 12.95 W is guaranteed to be available on the powered device.

802.3at = PoE+ (e.g. for APX 530, 740, 320X, AP6 420, AP6 420E, AP6 840, AP6 420X)

The IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standard supports up to 30 W of power on the ports (25.5 W after power dissipation), so devices that require more than 15.4 W can be powered on when connected to the PoE+ ports.

This Sophos PoE+ Injector can be used for the following AP6 Access Points:
